Prior to official establishment, RCAP was a self-help organization started by a group of animal loving volunteers. Dated 1995, volunteering families took turns to take care of abandoned animals that had been rescued, so as to allow abandoned pets live with happiness and dignity. In order to rescue more abandoned pets, volunteers formed Rescue Centre for Abandoned Pets (RCAP) in July 2006. As an organization dedicating to abandoned pets with charity status, RCAP is entirely self-financed and funds are raised through donations. We strongly believe that saving lives is the best work of life, yet we understand that we have to face countless difficulties ahead. Nevertheless, your encouragement and our persistence will definitely facilitate the rescue of more abandoned pets.
